Paul Sim
D.D.S., M.D.Sc.
Dr. Paul Sim earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he was recognized with the Hanau Best of the Best Prosthodontic Award and the Silverstein Scholarship for academic and clinical excellence. He completed his undergraduate studies at Colgate University with a dual degree in cellular neuroscience and music, graduating with honors.
Dr. Sim completed his advanced specialty training in prosthodontics and implant surgery at the University of Connecticut. His clinical focus includes full-mouth reconstruction, esthetic dentistry, and implant-based solutions for patients with complex needs. He is also skilled in advanced procedures such as full-arch implant therapy using the All-on-4® protocol, bone grafting, crown lengthening, and guided implant surgery.
As part of his residency training, Dr. Sim also earned a Master of Dental Science degree, presenting research on the long-term success of dental implants placed in challenging areas of the mouth. His academic and clinical background reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based care and precise, long-lasting outcomes.
Dr. Sim has shared his clinical work at national prosthodontic conferences and is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys photography, rock climbing, and composing music in both classical and jazz styles on the piano.
