How Much Does Cosmetic Dentistry Cost?
The cost of cosmetic dentistry depends on the procedure and other options involved with the procedure. For example, depending on the type of dental veneers (composite or porcelain), veneers can cost between $250-$2500 per tooth. Composite veneers are less expensive but porcelain veneers last longer. Therefore, the cost depends on the procedure, materials, and how involved the processes are.
Our cosmetic dentists will discuss your goals, options, procedures, and costs. They will also answer any questions you may have and make sure you feel comfortable with everything before moving forward.
How Long Will My Cosmetic Dental Procedure Last?
This is a top question in our Boston dental practice. The answer is, of course, conditional. Meaning, it depends on the procedure and how well you take care of your new smile.
Dental veneers can last up to 10 years. Dental implants can last a lifetime. Teeth whitening can last between 3 months and 3 years, depending on eating habits. Consuming coffee, tea, red wine, or smoking can all deplete the longevity of teeth whitening. Also, do you grind your teeth, brush too hard, do not brush enough, or floss? These and other things play a factor in how long your new smile lasts, or even how long your natural teeth last.
Taking preventative measures can help your cosmetic procedure last much longer. Each individual is different, and it’s important to follow your cosmetic dentist’s instructions and visit our office regularly to extend the life of your cosmetic procedure.
What Will The End Result Look Like?
We can show you examples of cosmetic dentistry procedures with before and after photos of some of our patients. Depending on the procedure, we can also show 3D models such as porcelain veneers, dental implants, and dental bridges. Sometimes seeing before and after photos or 3D models of the same procedure can help ease any concerns.
Complete Smile Makeovers

A smile makeover is more than just a cosmetic upgrade; it’s a personalized transformation designed to enhance the appearance and harmony of your teeth and gums. By combining advanced cosmetic dentistry treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, contouring, and alignment correction, a smile makeover addresses everything from tooth color and shape to spacing and symmetry. The result is a radiant, balanced smile that reflects your unique personality and boosts your confidence.
Cosmetic Dental Implants

Dental implants are the most advanced and reliable solution for replacing missing teeth. Whether you’re missing a single tooth or several, implants provide a permanent foundation that looks, feels, and functions just like natural teeth. Unlike other options, implants not only restore the appearance of your smile but also preserve jawbone health, maintain proper bite alignment, and prevent further dental complications.
With their exceptional success rate and long-lasting results, dental implants are considered the gold standard in tooth replacement. They give you back the confidence to smile, speak, and eat comfortably, while supporting your overall oral health for years to come.
Cosmetic Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are thin porcelain shells custom-designed to create natural-looking, radiant teeth. Typically applied to the front teeth, veneers are an excellent long-lasting solution for restoring teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored, or unevenly shaped. They not only improve the appearance of your smile but also provide strength and durability for everyday function.
Invisalign Invisible Aligners

Invisalign® is a modern orthodontic treatment that helps teens and adults achieve beautifully aligned teeth, without the look or discomfort of traditional metal braces. Using a series of clear, removable aligners made from high-quality, medical-grade plastic, Invisalign® gently shifts your teeth into place while remaining virtually invisible when worn. Comfortable, discreet, and convenient, it’s the clear choice for a confident smile.
Did you know many of our dentists have artistic and creative backgrounds? Many of them view dentistry as an art form.
Cosmetic Teeth Whitening

Over time, teeth naturally and unnaturally lose their brightness due to factors like aging, tobacco use, or consuming foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, red wine, and berries. This discoloration can make you feel self-conscious about your smile, but professional whitening can help.
We offer both in-office whitening treatments for fast, dramatic results and custom take-home kits for a more gradual, convenient option. Each approach is designed to safely lift stains and restore a radiant, confident smile. Before beginning treatment, we’ll help you understand the benefits of each method so you can choose the option that best fits your needs.
Tooth-Colored Fillings

At Dental Partners of Boston, we use white composite resin fillings as a modern alternative to traditional metal amalgam. Metal fillings can expand and contract with temperature changes, which may cause cracks and sensitivity. They also stand out with a dark metallic appearance.
Composite resin fillings, on the other hand, are tooth-colored and blend seamlessly with your natural enamel. They bond directly to the tooth for added strength and require less removal of healthy structure. This makes them a durable, natural-looking solution, without the concerns associated with mercury in metal fillings.
All-Porcelain Dental Crowns

All-porcelain crowns are one of the most trusted treatments in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Crafted from high-quality porcelain or resin, these crowns restore teeth that are worn, broken, misshapen, or severely discolored. They also protect teeth weakened by decay or large fillings and can serve as anchors for dental bridges.
Because the ceramic material can be precisely color-matched, all-porcelain crowns blend beautifully with your natural teeth for a seamless smile. We offer Procera AllCeram crowns, known for their strength, durability, and lifelike appearance.
Procera® AllCeram Crowns

Many patients today prefer crowns that are completely free of metal. Thanks to modern advancements, today’s all-ceramic crowns are stronger than ever, while offering unmatched aesthetic benefits. At Dental Partners of Boston, we proudly provide Procera® AllCeram crowns, combining durability with a beautifully natural look for a healthier, more confident smile.
Cosmetic Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a quick, painless way to repair and improve the appearance of your teeth. Using a tooth-colored composite resin, the same material used for natural-looking fillings, your dentist carefully shapes, cures, and polishes the bonding material directly onto the tooth.
Bonding is ideal for fixing small imperfections such as chips, cracks, gaps, or discoloration. The entire procedure usually takes less than an hour, and the results are immediate. Best of all, the restoration blends seamlessly with your natural enamel, leaving you with a stronger, more beautiful smile that looks completely natural.
