Statement
Dental Partners of Boston wants every patient to be able to use this website. We build and maintain it with that in mind, and we fix problems as we find them.
Our standard
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for websites. We don’t claim full conformance. Some parts of the site meet it today and some are still being corrected.
How we check
We scan the site every month with automated accessibility tools. Issues are logged, ranked by their impact on patients, and corrected in that order. A human review covers what automated scans miss.
Known limitations
Some older PDFs and embedded videos may not meet the standard. Outside tools we don’t control may have their own accessibility gaps. If you run into one, contact us and we’ll help you another way.
Third-party content
Parts of this site come from outside vendors: new patient forms, online payments, Google Maps, and YouTube videos. We can’t change their code. Anything you can do through those tools, our staff can do with you by phone.

Closed Captioning on Videos
Most of our videos include a transcript for the audio track, provided by YouTube, benefiting people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and anyone else who has difficulty hearing the audio. You can turn captioning on or off for a particular video, change your default settings, adjust the default size and style of captions, select a language and view an entire transcript. Your computer or mobile device also has volume control options. Try adjusting volume settings on your device and on the video player to enhance your listening experience.
Telecommunications Relay Service – TRS
If you have a hearing or speech disability and would like to speak with a team member here at Dental Partners of Boston, you can use a Telecommunications Relay Service to call us. It’s fast, functional, and free to you. You can simply dial 711 to be connected to a TRS operator.
