Dr. Roberta A. Wright

Dr. Roberta Wright is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist specializing in implant, esthetic, and reconstructive dentistry. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science, and was awarded the highly prestigious Bronze Tablet Honors, and membership in the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Prior to completing dental school, Dr. Wright was awarded a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut, graduating with Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honors, as well as other awards including the University Provost’s Academic Achievement Award, American College of Prosthodontists Student Achievement Award, American Academy of Implant Dentistry Student Award, Academy of Dental Materials Excellence Award, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Excellence Award. Following this, Dr. Wright completed a three year residency in which she earned her specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery, and concurrently earned her Master of Dental Science degree from the University of Connecticut. She received a grant from the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics for her master’s research, as well as the first place award from the American College of Prosthodontists, Massachusetts section resident research competition.

Dr. Wright is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists – a designation for those who have passed extensive examinations by the American Board of Prosthodontics. She has advanced training in complex esthetic rehabilitation; full-mouth reconstruction; crowns, bridges, and veneers; single and multi-unit implant placement and restoration; full-arch implant placement and prosthetics; and, complete and partial dentures. Dr. Wright is passionate about practicing evidence-based dentistry in order to ensure positive long-term treatment outcomes for her patients. She whole-heartedly believes in a global, comprehensive approach to patient care, and strives to deliver the best dental treatment to her patients.

Dr. Wright maintains a part-time academic appointment at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she provides clinical instruction in the Advanced Graduate Program for Implant Dentistry. She has numerous publications and poster presentations on a national and international level. She also holds positions in several professional organizations including the American College Prosthodontists, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
